Congratulations to a 19-year-old young man from Clinton Township in Macomb County for winning a Michigan Lottery big prize of half a million dollars playing Platinum 7’s instant win scratch-off game.

This very lucky young man chose to remain anonymous. He did tell Michigan Lottery officials that he is on an active ticket winning streak. This scratch-off ticket is his fourth ticket ever and like the previous three also a winner.

He bought the $500,000 winning scratch-off ticket at the Speedway gas station. The one located at 18650 Hall Road in Clinton Township instantly winning.

“When I scratched this ticket off, I wasn’t sure I understood how to play the game, so I Googled it and after reading a few things I realized I’d just won a bunch of money.

“It’s a relief to win. I just graduated from high school and started going to college. I’m pre-med and going to be a doctor, so this will really help with my expenses.”

The player visited Lottery headquarters on Monday to claim the big prize. In addition to using the prize for his education, he also plans to find a way to give back to his community.
