It has been 20 consecutive roll-overs since a $227 million jackpot was last won on Friday September 27, 2019. This also marks the third time this year that the Mega Millions jackpot has exceeded $300 million – The largest prize on the line since June 7.
Last year another Mega Millions jackpot kept growing in the days leading up to Christmas, until it was won at $437 million on January 1, 2019.
