Eight Months and Still Unclaimed - Play Michigan Lottery
Deadline for Unclaimed $1m Michigan Lottery Powerball Prize Quickly Approaching

It’s been eight months since this $1 million winning Mega Millions ticket was drawn in Michigan. Yet, the prize still remains unclaimed and the deadline is looming.

If no one comes forward within the confines of the next four months, the unclaimed winning ticket will expire. MI Lottery will have no choice but to donate the prize amount to its beneficiary, the School Aid Fund.

This ticket was bought for the 21 September 2018 Mega Millions drawing. According to MI Lottery records, the ticket matched five white ball numbers drawn – 01, 02, 11, 52, and 64. This made the ticket owner the winner of Mega millions second prize worth $1 million.

Lottery officials confirmed the winning ticket was bought at the Pierson Trading Post. The one located at 138 South 4th Street in Pierson.

Point to note

Even if you didn’t match all the winning numbers in a drawing. You could still be a winner of a lower prize. Thus, we wish to jog the memories of all who play Michigan lottery games. Please check your tickets after every drawing for one of many ways to win a lottery game prize.

Mega Millions tickets are only good for one year after the drawing date. Thus, the winner is advised to contact the Michigan Lottery public relations division. Or call (517) 373-1237 to schedule an appointment to collect the big prize. Because this is a big prize, it must be claimed at the Lottery’s headquarters in Lansing.
