Fourth $1 million prize to go unclaimed

A Michigan Lottery ticket worth $1 million is about to go unclaimed. Time is running out to claim the Powerball prize from the Michigan Lottery.

On December 19, 2018, a lucky Mi_Lottery player matched five white-ball numbers to win the game’s second prize of $1 million. Unfortunately, the winner has not come forward with the winning ticket to claim the big prize.

Someone played the winning ticket at the Marathon gas station on Orchard Lake Road in Farmington Hills. So, if you played Michigan Powerball sometime in December last year, we urge you to have your ticket scanned.

Powerball tickets are valid for one year from the drawing date. So, if the winning ticket is not brought forward by 4:45 p.m. on Thursday, it will expire, and the prize money will go to the state school aid fund.

It will be the fourth $1 million prize to go unclaimed in 2019 after $1 million Mega Millions prizes went unclaimed in March and September, and a Powerball prize went unclaimed in October.
