Martin Luther King Jr. Day is a federal holiday. We observe MLK Day on the third Monday of every January. On the day, Americans celebrate King’s birthday and honor his legacy of highlighting civil rights.

Thus, we wish to advise all players that Michigan Lottery headquarters in Lansing and all regional offices will be closed on Monday, January 20, 2020. This is in the observance of the MLK Day.

MLK Day was approved in 1983 and is the first federal holiday to honor an African American.
