Consequently, the $40 million jackpot had to roll and increase by about $5 million in prize for the next drawing, which is scheduled for Friday.

Meanwhile, at the very bottom of the winnings and payouts table, 291,945 Mega Millions game players matched just the Mega Ball number 06. They each won $2. Of the 291,945 winners, a lucky 52,180 increased their prize to $6 by also playing the drawn Megaplier 03.
