Powerball Ticket Sold in Sterling Heights is Worth $1 Million - Play Michigan Lottery

A ticket sold in Sterling Heights won a lucky MI Lottery player $1 million in Saturday night’s Powerball drawing.

The victorious holder of the winning ticket is yet to come forward with the ticket to claim the big prize. Still, their ticket matches five white balls drawn (11-14-32-43-65) but not the Powerball in Saturday’s drawing to win the games second prize level of $1 million.

Purchase of the winning ticket happened at the Kroger store, located at 43893 Schoenherr Road in Sterling Heights.

The $1 million winner or winners should call MI Lottery Public Relations Division at (517) 373-1237 to schedule an appointment to collect their big prize. The prize is claimable at the Lottery’s headquarters in Lansing. Tickets for Powerball are valid for one year from the drawing date.

Powerball tickets cost $2 a play. There are available at all 11,000 Lottery retailers across the state and online at MichiganLottery.com.

A “Power Play” option which multiplies non-jackpot prizes by up to 10 times may be added to any Powerball play for an extra $1.

The Powerball drawing takes place at 10:59 p.m. on Wednesday and Saturday. Powerball tickets available in 44 states, including Washington D.C., U.S. Virgin Islands, and Puerto Rico.
