Time Running Out to Claim $1 Million Prize

This one reminds me of a poetic line from my favorite childhood tv series. Like sands through the hourglass, so are the days to claim a $1 million Powerball prize from the Michigan Lottery. On October 03, 2018 a Michigan Lottery player was lucky to match five white Powerball numbers – 41, 53, 59, 63, and 66 – to be entitled to a $1 million prize. But now, this player or players are running out of luck.

They purchased the winning ticket at the Speedway gas station on 10070 Highland Road, Hartland in Livingston County.

By now, you might wonder why are we talking so much about this win. Well, the simpest answer is that the winner or winners have until 4:45 pm this coming Thursday, October 03, 2019 to claim the $1 million prize at the Lottery’s headquarters in Lansing. And only 3 days remain for the prize to expire.

So, time is of the essence here for the winner to contact Michigan Lottery Public Relations Division at (517) 373-1237 to schedule an appointment to collect the big prize. If the prize isn’t claimed on or before Thursday 4:45 pm, the prize money will go to the state School Aid Fund.

This would be the third $1 million prize to go unclaimed this season. A $1 million Mega Millions prize went unclaimed in March and another earlier this month.
