A Michigan Lottery player from Wexford County now plans to invest in his business after winning $500,000 playing Michigan Lottery’s new $500,000 Lucky 7’s instant game.
The lucky player revealed a three-legged pot symbol on his $500,000 Lucky 7’s instant game ticket to automatically win the prize shown underneath, which luckily for him was the games top prize of $500,000.
“I had been keeping an eye on the top remaining prizes online,” said the 31-year-old player who remained anonymous. “I was on my way to work and stopped to buy a few tickets. But, I won a small prize and later in the day invested those winnings and it paid off!”
The lucky player bought his winning $500,000 Lucky 7’s ticket at the Admiral gas station at 805 South Mitchell Street in Cadillac, Wexford County in Northern Lower Michigan.
The lucky man recently claimed his prize, and with his winnings, he plans to invest a lot in his business; buy a new home and set up a savings account for his daughter.
Players have won more than $5 million playing $500,000 Lucky 7’s, a game launched in January. Each $5 ticket offers players a chance to win prizes ranging from $5 up to $500,000. More than $20 million in prizes remain, including two $500,000 top prizes, eight $10,000 prizes, and 18 $2,000 prizes.
$500,000 Lucky 7’s instant game tickets may be purchased at 10,500 retailers across Michigan, including Wexford County. Last year, Lottery players won more than $1.2 billion playing Michigan Lottery instant games.
