A lucky 63-year-old man from Saginaw County asked Michigan Lottery officials to be unidentified when he came forward with a Fantasy 5 jackpot winning ticket worth just over $100,000.
The ticket matched all Fantasy 5 numbers (01-08-11-13-18) drawn last Thursday to win a Fantasy 5 Jackpot worth $110,000 in annuity value.
The lucky player bought his winning ticket at the 7-Eleven shop located at 2726 Weiss Street in southeastern Saginaw Township North. He had to look twice after seeing some familiar-looking Fantasy 5 numbers on TV.
“I was watching the nightly drawing and saw the Fantasy 5 numbers pop up. I didn’t think much of it at first,” said the player. “All of sudden, I thought: ‘Those look really familiar!’ so, I wrote them down as quick as I could. When I looked at my ticket and saw I’d matched all five and won $110,000, I couldn’t believe it!”
Fantasy 5 is a daily draw game held at 7:29 p.m with a jackpot that starts at $100,000 and instant win options. An ordinary Fantasy 5 ticket sells for $1 only, however, players can choose to add EZmatch for an additional $1 per play.
This EZmatch option gives players a chance to win up to $500 instantly when one or more of their regular draw numbers match the EZmatch numbers.
