How to Play
Players have to choose 5 numbers ranging from 1 to 39. Some players choose the machine to select these numbers, but you may also pick them on your own.
There are two different additions that you can put on your ticket, like the Double Play feature. This feature uses the numbers you currently have and immediately plays them for a second drawing, with a jackpot at $110,000.
The second add-on for this game is the EZmatch, which has to match a specific number in order to win. This prize amount ranges up to $500.
So in total, each game could wind up costing you three dollars a play. However, these are optional and only change the odds slightly when trying to win something.
Odds, Price, and Prizes
The overall odds of winning a single prize for Fantasy 5 will slightly vary since each additional feature could change what you win. The odds are typically at 1 in 9 for this game.
The regular drawing has odds at 1 in 9, but the EZ Match is set at 1 in 5. Purchasing another ticket is a great way to go if you want to increase your overall odds of winning anything.
The prizes that you could win for the regular drawing are at $1, $10, $100, and whatever the current jackpot is during the time of your purchase. The Double Play add-on has the same odds as the regular draw, but the prize amounts have doubled, hence the name Double Play, at $2, $20, $200, and then $110,000 for the jackpot.
