There are five ways to withdraw prize winnings from a Michigan Lottery account. Players can withdraw by way of an ACH-bank transfer, by check, via PayPal, Withdraw at Retail Voucher, and withdraw Walk in.
So, once you’ve earned $10 or more in prize winnings, you can submit a withdrawal request. And here are the options to withdraw your winnings.
1. ACH – Bank Transfer
Basically, an ACH transfer is an electronic funds transfer to your bank account. It is a classic, but, slow option.
So, upon approval, funds may take 3 to 5 business days to reflect your bank account. The smallest amount per request is $10. However, the maximum amount per request is $50,000.

2. Check
Well, for obvious reasons, this option is not initially available online. So, winners may first have to call MI Lottery Customer Support at 1-844-887-6836 to request the check.
But, as you can imagine, this process adds a few extra days for issuing and mailing the check. In any case, the minimum amount via this option per withdrawal request is $10. Yet, the maximum amount per request is $50,000.
3. PayPal
A flow less and simple winnings transfer option to your PayPal account. Upon approval, funds are deposited within one (1) business day or less
Like the aforementioned options, the minimum withdrawal amount per request is $10. And the maximum amount per request is $50,000.
4. Withdraw at Retail Voucher
Withdraw Voucher is the latest winnings withdrawal option. So, here is how it’s done. Upon approval, a Withdraw Voucher is available to print immediately.
However, only after printing from your lottery account can the Withdraw Voucher be taken to any lottery retailer and redeemed for cash.
But, while the minimum amount per request is $10, the maximum winnings amount per request is a mere $200 per voucher. But again, the total number of requests allowed per day is up to ten times.
Your voucher will expire 30 days from the date of issuance. The issued and expiration dates are listed on the voucher. So, if expired, the voucher will no longer be valid, and the funds will be deposited back into account balance.
After selecting your withdrawal option, follow the directions on the screen.
5. Walk In
The last withdrawal option is to walk in to a bank claim center that is affiliated with Michigan Lottery. Or visit MI Lottery head offices in Lansing to file in a prize winnings withdrawal claim in person.
