Two lucky Delta County players are $1.41 million richer after winning the Michigan Lottery’s Doubler Wild Time Progressive Fast Cash jackpot. The winners made up a two-person lottery club and are employed at Wally’s Bar, at 917 Delta Avenue in Gladstone, where they purchased the winning ticket.
Club representative Jennifer Boulley-Wicklund says she and the other club member always played the Lottery together and decided to purchase a Fast Cash ticket before leaving for the night. After she returned home, she later got a call from her boss saying that Wally’s sold a $1.41 million winning ticket, and he asked if she purchased it. “When I saw that we had won the jackpot, I couldn’t believe it. I called Thomas right away to tell him what we’d won!”
She recently visited Michigan Lottery headquarters along with fellow Wally’s Club member Thomas Derusha to collect their jackpot. Both say they plan on saving their winnings.
