Michigan Lottery Closed on Thanksgiving - Play Michigan Lottery
Lottery offices Closed for Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving is a national holiday celebrated on the fourth Thursday of November each year. So, on Thursday, November 28, Michigan Lottery is giving its employees and players the holiday off. The same goes for shopping frenzy – Black Friday on November 29, 2019. All this means, the Mi Lottery headquarters in Lansing will be closed. This includes the regional offices in Detroit, Grand Rapids, Livonia, Saginaw, and Sterling Heights they’ll also close for the federal holiday and again on Black Friday.

So, it is worth noting that, although private bank claim centers, that the Michigan Lottery has teamed up with over the years, may choose to remain open or have shorter working hours on Thanksgiving Day. But they will, however, not be able to process big prize claims. That is because the Michigan Lottery headquarters in Lansing will be closed.

Thanksgiving traditionally is built upon being with family, friends and enjoying delicious food — the turkey stuffing, mashed potatoes you can stuff your face with, and pumpkin pies.

So, after all the gratitude, excitement, and feasting, the Michigan Lottery will resume normal working hours on December 02.

However, no matter how you express your gratitude – for the harvest or to a higher power, be mindful of others.

Happy Thanksgiving.
