A Michigan Lottery player has won $1 million in the Saturday, August 24, Powerball drawing. The winning numbers were 5, 15, 21, 24, and 43, with the Powerball number 17 and a Power Play multiplier of 3x.
The lucky player matched all five white balls to secure the $1 million prize. Details about where the winning ticket was sold have not yet been released by the Michigan Lottery.
Saturday’s jackpot was estimated at $35 million ($17.2 million cash value). Since no one matched all five numbers plus the Powerball, the jackpot for Monday’s drawing is expected to rise to $44 million ($21.9 million cash value).
