What Happens If I Win The Jackpot?
There are a couple of things to consider when you win the jackpot. You have the option of getting cashed out or setting up an annuity payment.
Cashing out is taking a lump sum of the jackpot, minus any taxes withheld by Michigan. Taking the annuity is accepting payments over 30 years, which could ultimately save you money due to your tax situation.
