No ticket correctly matched all six winning numbers in last Wednesday’s $223 million Powerball draw.
This has seen an upsurge to the jackpot prize, which is now at an estimated $147.3 Million in cash value equaling $247 Million annuity value in the next drawing, which is customarily scheduled to be held at 10:59 p.m. ET on Saturday, 11 August 2018.
This also marks the fourteenth consecutive jackpot rollover since the Wednesday, 20th June 2018 drawing, which saw a single Powerball jackpot win.
Although no player took home the Powerball Jackpot prize in the last drawing, 805,106 players won a prize of some sort, which totaled to $5,134,778 in prize money paid to players across all winning divisions. According to Michigan Lottery reports, the last Michigan player to win the Powerball jackpot was Julie Leach, of Three Rivers. Leach won the game’s $310.5 million jackpot on Sept. 30, 2015.
The single largest Powerball jackpot ever won to date was on 13, January 2016, and the largest world jackpot record is the $1.586 billion won by three tickets purchased in California, Florida, and Tennessee.
You can play the Powerball game by choosing a quick pick, where the lottery machine randomly chooses six lucky numbers for you or you can manually choose your lucky numbers.
A Powerball ticket cost $2 per play and for an extra $1 per play, you can add Power Play to a ticket which enables a chance to multiply non-jackpot prize winnings.
