On the next drawing scheduled for 1:29 am EST, Michigan Lottery will draw the numbers that will likely go down as one of the largest Lotto 47 jackpot payouts in MI Lottery’s Classic Lotto 47 game this year.
A lucky Michigan Lottery player could be headed to a certain early retirement if they win Saturday’s $8.45 Million Lotto 47 jackpot. To win the top prize, players must match all six of the numbers drawn.
A select few players do actually get to realize their fantasy—and on Saturday night, someone could win this $8.45 Million.
If a player wins Saturday’s Lotto 47 jackpot, it would mark the sixth time the game’s top prize has been won in 2018. Lotto 47 jackpot winners have won more than $8.8 million so far this year.
Lotto 47 tickets only cost $1 per play. Players select six numbers from one to 47 for a chance to win the jackpot. The odds of that happening to any one player are 1 in 10,737,573.
There have been numerous rollovers so far since a player won a Classic Lotto 47 jackpot. The last time was won was over four months ago, on Saturday, 26 May 2018.
According to MI Lottery rules, the default jackpot prize rests at $1 million. So, if this $8.45 million is not won it will roll over once again and grow even bigger. It will continue to bubble until a lucky player bets with a ticket containing the correct winning numbers.
For an additional $1 per game, players may add EZMatch to their ticket for a chance to win up to $500 instantly. Customarily Lotto 47 drawings take place every Wednesday and Saturday at 7:29 p.m. Tickets may be purchased until 7:08 p.m. on the day of the drawing.
