A lot of Michigan Lottery players enjoy keno. Like bingo, the game allows players to choose their favorite numbers and watch the subsequent draw to try and get matches.
Recently a jackpot had risen to $463,361 before a lucky player was able to nail the prize. The customer purchased the game at Red’s Sports Bar & Grill in Middleville.
Top Prize: Up to $2 million
Estimated Jackpot: $33,070
Odds: vary per game
To participate, you first choose how many numbers you want to play per draw. You can choose to play up to 10 spots. Then, you will select the amount you wish to wager per draw, ranging from $1 to $20 per selection.
You can also choose how many consecutive drawings you want to be a part of, with options ranging from 1 to 60. Your numbers vary in a set from 1 to 80. You can have the machine randomly pick if you like with the Easy Pick option.
You can play a feature called ‘Extra’ for an additional chance to win with your numbers. Extra will double your Club Keno wager, but is also an optional add-on.
You can play another game option called ‘Kicker’ to have the chance to increase your Club Keno prizes, up to 10 times the amount. Kicker will also double your Club Keno wager. Keep in mind that the Kicker does not apply to Extra or The Jack prizes, and it too is an optional upgrade for a chance to increase your return on investment.
Finally, you can play ‘The Jack’ for a chance to win the progressive jackpot and other prizes along the way. The Jack will increase your wagers with $1 per game.
Eight Easy Pick numbers range from 1 to 80, and are printed on the bottom of your ticket. Playing ‘The Jack’ is optional, but is also a way to try for the large progressive jackpot.
You can check your results for the Club Keno drawing at a local retailer, or by entering your Draw Numbers on the Michigan Lottery Website. A mobile app is also available for download to see the results of current and past drawings.
The overall odds of winning a single prize in The Jack game are 1 in 9.77. The Jack has a progressive jackpot starting at $10,000 and continues until someone wins. The player that won the $463,361 jackpot had odds of 1 in 230,115.
Each game starts at $1 unless additional features are added to the lay slip. The odds and prizes will vary according to the amount of numbers you select.
