The Michigan Lottery announced that the Big Cash Catch online instant game has been added to the Monthly Second Chance Progressive Jackpot lineup. These games give players another way to enter the drawing for a second chance to win a huge jackpot.
Big Cash Catch online instant game will launch on June 6 and gives lucky players a chance to win up to $100,000 instantly. In addition, playing Big Cash Catch online automatically earns players entries into the Monthly Second Chance Progressive Jackpot.
The jackpot begins at $5,000 every month and increases as players purchase eligible tickets online. Every $0.50 wagered playing Big Cash Catch earns players one entry into the Second Chance Progressive Jackpot for the current month.
The Monthly Jackpot Progressive game was launched in April 2022, with players winning more than $3.1 million in Monthly Jackpot Progressive prizes since then. The smallest jackpot won was $97,885 in October 2022, and the biggest winner took home $625,162 in March 2023.
Monthly Second Chance online instant games cost $0.50 to $20 per play, with top prizes ranging from $40,000 to $100,000 that can be won instantly. Each game features a 1-click play and reveal, where players must match five or more matching symbols to win a prize. Each also features one symbol to unlock a guaranteed winning outcome.
Seven games currently fund the Monthly Second Chance Progressive Jackpot each month. The other eligible games are Cash Vault, Viva Las Jackpots, Lucky Start, Michigan Multiplier Wilds, Mystery Vault, and June Monthly Jackpot. Once the monthly entry period closes, a random drawing takes place with one jackpot winner chosen from all monthly entries.
Entries are only valid for the month players earned them. A new drawing period starts every month, with the progressive jackpot reset to the minimum of $5,000. The next drawing for the Monthly Second Chance Progressive Jackpot will be on June 1A lucky player in Kent County won the April 2023 jackpot of $538,958.60 in the last drawing on May 10.
Players can view their entries into the Monthly Second Chance Jackpot Drawing by visiting ‘My Entries,’ which may take up to 72 hours to appear.
