A 52-year-old man from St. Clair County made a last-minute decision to purchase a Jackpot Slots Fast Cash ticket, which earned him a jackpot of $886,062 from the Michigan Lottery. The lucky player bought his winning ticket from Good Time Charlie’s at 15036 Downey Road in Capac.
The lucky player said he went to Good Time Charlie’s with his brother to eat and play Club Keno, where he bought two tickets to win $10. Instead of purchasing an instant ticket with the winnings as he intended, he saw the Fast Cash jackpot was over $800,000 and decided to buy the Jackpot Slots ticket instead.
He looked the ticket over after returning to his table and saw he’d won the jackpot. “I showed my brother the ticket, and we started shouting with excitement! We couldn’t believe it and were in shock for a while.” said the lucky winner. The player recently visited Lottery headquarters to claim his big prize and says he plans to help his family with the winnings.
