A Detroit woman’s luck turned around when she won an incredible $100,000 playing the Michigan Lottery’s Diamond Payout instant online game. Jamila McCaskill, 44, had been having a tough day and decided to take a break and relax by playing the Lottery app’s Daily Spin to Win game.
While scrolling through other games, she decided to take a chance on Diamond Payout and was shocked when, on only her second spin, the screen lit up with a prize of $100,000. “This is by far the largest prize I have ever won, and it feels amazing!” said McCaskill. She recently visited Michigan Lottery headquarters to claim her big prize and plans to use her winnings to pay off her mortgage and other bills.

Players can choose from a selection of over 175 different games, which cost anywhere from $0.05 to $20 per play. The Michigan Lottery allows players to double or triple their winnings in February with the Club Keno Tripler Time promotion. For the entire month of February, players can purchase Club Keno tickets from Lottery retailers statewide to participate in the promotion.
Prizes won from these tickets may be doubled or tripled without additional cost. However, Jack prizes and Club Keno Extra prizes for 8 of 10, 9 of 10, and 10 of 10 are excluded from the promotion.
For the double or triple winnings to be applied, the tickets must be eligible Club Keno or Club Keno Extra prize winners. As a reminder, receiving only a Doubler or Tripler message doesn’t give players a win.
However, for players that purchase a multi-draw ticket and get the Doubler or Tripler message, all winnings for drawings on that ticket are automatically doubled or tripled. The Tripler Time promotion was last run in August, and players took home more than $2.6 million in prizes.
