As soon as she saw the $390K and told her husband, the thought was that something was amiss. Somebody was out a whole lot of money. Oh no! But it was not like that at all. The victory was the real deal and it did in fact come to pass. In a big way, she had made it. And then there is the discussion as to what they will do with the winnings that they were blessed with.
Spending The Victory Fund
Kauflin, 39, opted to claim the lump sum payment, instead of just doing $25K in annuity payments each and every year. In doing that, she’s able to do something she loves right away before then being more intelligent with it.
