Another "Lucky for Life" Winner in Michigan - Play Michigan Lottery
Educator from Calhoun County Wins Excellence In Education Award from the Michigan Lottery

The Michigan Lottery continues to pay out some large sums of money, and some lucky winner has just won cash for life. The “Lucky for Life” promotion has already paid out one winner so far in 2024, and another lucky winner will soon be collecting the massive prize.

Five white balls were drawn this week, and those balls matched a ticket that was purchased online, and now it’s just up to someone to claim it. The winning participant will have a couple of payout options, including taking home $25,000 per year for the rest of their life.

There is also an opportunity to claim a lump sum prize of $390,000, and it’s unclear which way that person will go. No one has come forward to claim the big prize yet, but that can be done online or by making a phone call.

Tickets for this game are just $2 to purchase, and there are prizes that range in various dollar amounts. The Michigan Lottery continues to have some great way for players to win, and taking home a huge check each month is a great option.

This contest will continue throughout the year, and there could ultimately be others that claim the top prize.

Powerball Jackpot is Massive

The Powerball is another great option for players in Michigan, and there are a couple of different ways to enter this drawing. There has already been one Powerball jackpot won this year, but the current number is up to $559 million.

There are three Powerball drawings each week as they are held on Sunday, Monday, and Wednesday, and the jackpot increases until the top prize is claimed. Even though the total jackpot sits at $559 million, there is also a cash option that is worth $273.3 million.

Lottery tickets can be purchased at retailers throughout the state, or those tickets can be bought online as well. If anyone is able to match the winning numbers, those prizes can be claimed at the Michigan Lottery office after an appointment is set up.

Powerball tickets are sold for just $2, but there are other ways to increase the overall value of the prize. For an additional dollar, players can purchase a “Power Play” option that will add 10x to the overall win.

There is also a double play drawing that is held each night, and that gives players an additional chance to win a smaller prize.
